Welcome to George A. Whitten Elementary.  We are excited about the opportunity to partner with our community in making the lives of our young children the best that they can be.  As the new principal, I have been amazed by the family atmosphere and the welcoming spirit that exists here.  It is an honor to continue the educational/social success that Mr. Whitten began many years ago.

It is our belief that the best way to meet the social, emotional, academic, and physical needs of all of our students is a firm partnership with parents and other community organizations.  Please take the time to get involved in the many events that we have to offer.  The faculty and staff are focused on providing the best educational experiences for our students.  We strive to provide innovated methods to challenge and enrich our students each and every day.    Thanks for your interest in our website and your support of our school.  We believe that together we can achieve the toughest of challenges.  Please share with me your thoughts by contacting me at   Your feedback is valued greatly.
